His Place: Hartford Community & Learning Center provides a place for the members of Hartford and surrounding communities to come together, to fellowship and experience life giving activities that enrich the lives of those involved.

We have a gym with full court basketball, volleyball, soccer & batting cages.  We have a workout facility with weight & cardio equipment, and a dance/fitness studio.  The learning center is now also in the community center which offers after school tutoring.  We have space to offer life enrichment courses, support groups, and various trainings and meetings that help equip people with tools to help them pursue a successful and victorious life, positively impacting our community today and for generations to come.

The center was built with at risk youth in mind, and has been a blessing to so many members and families since its opening in the fall of 2010.  During the first year alone, nearly 2,000 members have benefited and enjoyed the facilities, most at no charge.

While some services will be offered at nominal fees to help offset the cost of operating the facility, many of the programs will continue to be offered free of charge.  Most of the funds to operate the facility come from fund raising events, grants, generous donations from community businesses and individuals, and His Place: Cathedral of Faith who built the facility for the community.
